Well this is one very fine compliment indeed! And I must say that when I say that I am impressed by an image, I really am. And your photography throws a new light and affects my own, which is a very good thing and one of the reasons of those blogs I think.
ReplyDeleteLike this duck... I will say that this is more about light than anything else. The sun's angle is not right for the duck itself... but perfect for this flurry of water droplets. And shows once again what we do not see when looking at ducks: a duck can displace an awful lot of water. This is was had surprised me too in my own picture... afterwards, I had no real idea when I shot it. And then it also became a picture about water - and movement - more than about the duck. Strange...
